PTA Fundraising Success

This year the PTA have met the cost of a range of new school equipment to support learning, wellbeing and fun for pupils:

  • Staging blocks (drama)
  • Piano for the school hall
  • Oscilloscopes (science)
  • Keyboards (music)
  • Bean bags (library)
  • Fire station (nursery)
  • Performance netball dresses featuring the PTA logo (PE)

Much of the focus for the PTA’s fundraising over the year was for the school’s new Outdoor Room. This was built over the summer break, replacing the existing outdoor classroom. It is multipurpose bespoke building - hexagonal in shape with a felt tiled roof, flooring, seating and half-height walls.

The Outdoor Room is a robust and sturdy space, built to last, and is a valuable addition to the school’s secure playground area. It offers recreation and study space to all ages of pupils, a new teaching space for staff, a meeting venue – perhaps even a festive grotto!

With the support of our parents and families over the year, the PTA were able to meet the full cost of the project which is amazing!

Thank you to our volunteers and class reps!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the volunteers and class reps who generously donated their time and resources to support the PTA at our events over the year.

A special mention must go to everyone who helps with the second-hand uniform and book sales. These sales play a vital role in the PTA's annual fundraising efforts, promoting sustainability and providing affordable uniforms to families. We rely heavily on the efforts of volunteers who contribute to sorting, selling and managing the inventory. Thank you!

Are you interested in volunteering your time and skills to support the PTA?

We appreciate the involvement of all our parents and we would love to have you as part of our team. If you're interested about making a positive impact on school life and would like to get involved, please let us know.

Meetings are held termly, for around an hour or so, and as we only hold a few events over the school year, which are well established, the workload is light. It’s a great way to get to know other parents and an enjoyable way to be involved with school life.
