St Margaret’s is thrilled to announce its new Head Girl team.
Celine rejoined St Margaret’s in II Senior, returning to a school transformed by COVID-19 protocols. Despite the changes, she found a supportive environment that helped her readjust. "Everyone was just as kind," she reflects, "and I received a lot of support from teachers and friends." As she embarks on her final year, Celine looks forward to sharing the Sixth Year Flat and cherishing traditions like sitting on the benches during assembly. She plans to study Computer Science at university, with applications submitted both in and out of the UK.
Vanessa joined St Margaret’s in S1 and was quickly embraced by the community. “My S6 buddy was very nice and helped me feel more comfortable,” she recalls. This year, she is excited to gain more independence in her science studies, preparing for the challenges of university. Vanessa’s goal is to pursue a degree in medicine.
Yoma transitioned to St Margaret’s from Braehead Primary in S1 and was immediately struck by the hard work and dedication of her peers. "It pushed me to work harder and continuously try my best," she says. This year, she looks forward to taking on a leadership role in Culture Week, a highlight of the school calendar. Yoma dreams of becoming a Paediatric Neurologist and plans to study medicine after S6.
Bukunmi, who has been at St Margaret’s since Nursery, is eager to give back in her final year. "This year is a chance to support younger students and be a role model," she says. Passionate about Maths and Computing Science, she aims to study Computing Science at university.
These students bring dedication and vision to their roles, and the St Margaret’s community is excited to see the impact they will make in the year ahead.
