On Thursday, talented oboist Hannah M took to the stage as one of two soloists at the Cowdray Hall Lunchtime Concert. A holder of the prestigious Dorothy Hately Scholarship at the North East of Scotland Music School (NESMS), Hannah was invited to represent NESMS at this special event.
Performing to a full audience, she delivered a captivating programme featuring Besozzi’s Sonata in C, Bellini’s Oboe Concerto, Saint-Saëns’ Oboe Sonata (movt. 2), and the beautifully expressive Sweet Sunset. The concert was warmly received, serving as a fitting tribute to NESMS in its 50th anniversary year.
Hannah will next perform at the annual NESMS scholarship concert on 20th June.
